Well, what can I say? I really haven't blogged much. No one really seems interested in Cat anymore. Sometimes I miss the endless hours of people IMing me. It was so much fun when compared to this current plight I find myself in. Even so, who cares? So the stereo system in the boat is nice. Dual 12" subs powered by a 500W amp, two 6"x9" two-way speakers from the head unit which is a Clarion. No six disk cd changer as of yet, but I did opt to get the remote control with display and stainless steel beezel, which is nice. So I think I will be content with the single disk capibilities, at least for now. It turned out quite nice, which pleases me. Down forward is basicly complete, the addition of some LEDs and hooking up the heater, as well as putting the head back in, maybe putting a floor in the anchor locker, probably a stainless thru-hull for the sink... some cabinets... the mini bar... hmm there seems to be quite a bit that needs to be worked on. The two knees to support the washrail on the starboard side are in, and the additional air box on the port is also in. The sides have been gelcoated with two coats, so those look spiffy and should be easier to clean. The steering bulkhead is still waiting for its gelcoat and sanding job *just so that it is extra smooth for ease of cleaning* and the overhead probably should have another coat. The deck is scheduled to get scuffed up tomorrow and I am going to spend the day on my back, sanding the bottom so I can put on a fresh coat of bottom paint. Then, after the paint is on, I have to sand it with a finer grit which will burnish the surface, and give me that hard smooth racing bottom, which should add some speed in theory. Extra speed is always good. I have to do some more hose work, put all the fluids in the right position so they can shoot through the cooler assembly, which should give me more power *which is also good, you can never have too much power* and I should probably hook the engine up to the water intake too (makes note to get some hose clamps). The first race is coming right up. June 21st, which just happens to be the first day of summer too. The propeller has had another inch banged into it, so it will be interesting to see how it is swung, and if it was for the better or not... posted by Suicide

Ever notice how people you trust, or people you are beginning to trust, just turn on you one day? Or has that only happened to me... posted by Suicide
