Earlier, I burnt my tongue on one of those damned hot pockets... All because I just couldn't wait to sink my teeth into that crispy flakey crust... posted by Suicide

Well, it seems that certain people have been bugging me about not updating this little thingy thingy here. So I guess I should update it, even if it's just a little bit. Yes racing went good, I have 1st place for the year *joi* so that is really good, even though I was beaten twice, but I got enough points to put myself far infront of everyone else, even if I did piss some people off *they were fuckers anyways, they don't matter one bit in the big scheme of things*. I spoke with my girl recently, and some things were said that kinda hurt me, but I understand what she is going through. So it's all kinda like that song where you hold on loosely but don't let go... It's weird how after a thing like that happens in your life you suddenly realize that certain songs you've heard before for years finally make sence... Yesterday we brought the Egg Harbor out of the water so that we could remove the fly bridge, remove the engines and ship it further inland so that the owner can replank her, get her engines rebuilt *twin 440 Chrystlers* and all spiffied up and then its back to me so I can rewire it and put the engines back in so she can be relaunched. Today I spent a few hours under the deck. I took out the plug so that the water could drain and I began on the port engine, first I removed the heat exchanger, undoing all the plumbing and yanking it out. Then I removed the exhaust risers and took those out of the way, then I stripped the wires off of the engine, being careful to document where they all went. And as of right now all I have left on the port engine is the two front engine mounts and the shifter cable for the transmission, then it is onto the starboard engine. But when I was taking the exhaust risers off, the damn hose that connects the metal exhaust riser and the metal exhaust tube would not let go, so I cut the damn thing, but since it is wire reinforcd, I had to snip the wire and I left a little bit sticking out, and that bit me later in the day. But I'm not going to worry about that, mostly because that particular piece of wire hasn't been exposed probably since the day it was put on *back in the 60's* and I'm sure whatever was on it was probably killed either due to the lack of oxygen to it *as well as food? hmm maybe* and the high heat from the eingine, plus it was a fresh cut, to no tetnius shot for me. More fun work tomorrow *YEPPIE* posted by Suicide
