Ah, early mornings. The birds are chirping, the sun is just peeking over the trees, filling the valley with warmth and radiance and... oh, wait.... its completely dark out, no fucking birds, and its cold! Stoopid early mornings.
So today I get to play with my computer that is completely apart.
Some person online is trying to tell me that the person with the SN they are on committed suicide two days ago, Im really tired of those. If they are going to lie about it at least have a better story.
Des is going to hawaii, yay for her, I hope she has a wonderful time out there. Just dont want her to go surfing, because she might loose her arm!
That would be uncool

My poor laptop. It has been reduced to the individual parts and pieces. Tomorrow I shall put it all back together, the thingy that was hanging down was part of the slide cover for the modem. So after another early morning *damn early mornings* that is what I will be doing.
Hopefully it will work
There sure was alot of cat hair inside there too
I wonder where that came from... posted by Suicide

Last night, I broke my laptop (which is my main computer) and that pissed me right off. The damn screen was on the fritz again, where cascades of pink orange and other colors that were supposed to be there, were running rampant. So, like the norm, I thumped my computer. Some of the colors went away, and after a few more quick raps, my screen was back to normal. But now the computer had froze. So, alright. Just a quick reboot. But when I turned it off and tried to make it turn back on, it would like JUST start up, then automaticly turn itself off, then back on, then back off, yada yada yada. So this was alright, its done this before. A quick fix is to just remove the battery, take the ac adapter out of the wall and let itself get a hard reset. But when I took the battery out, it came a little hard, and when it was finally all the way out I saw why. Evidently the thumping made a part of the insides...come out? There is this metal thingy *looks like a shield for a circuit board or something* is hanging down right where the battery needs to slide in. That would have been ok, if it had worked with just the ac adapter in. Which it isnt. It is still doing that damn on/off shit. It is very troubling. I have some stuff to do on that computer. Like, that article for the national publication. And goofing off with all the internet people. So evidently I am reduced to this fucking piece of shit *desktop that is slower than something that is really slow* and typing on this keyboard is giving my hands a hard time, and to top it all off, I cant even access the files on my laptop. *cries* Maybe I can borrow my sisters laptop and just swap the hard drives so its like a body transplant for my computer. It would be a pain to keep swapping them back and forth, but I think it would be worth it. Plus I use my laptop as my alarm clock, I use winamp to wake me up in the morning with the soft soothing noises of popular recordings. But I dont have any of those on this computer. So I had to set it up so that damn 3D pinball program comes up and blats its music at me. My hand is starting to hurt now. Stoopid keyboard. Getting to bed at 0200 hrs and waking up at 0500 hrs sucks donkey balls. posted by Suicide

So on Monday, I hurt my hand. I was asked how, and I had to tell the truth. I was walking. How embarrasing! I just happened to be turning around, and my arm swung away from my body, like it is apt to do on just about everyone, unless they dont have shoulders, and WHAM, right into the transmission cable bracket on this marine transmission. Right on the sharp corner of it. So that jabbed into the back of my hand and it must have hit the exact special spot that only kung-fu masters know, because it almost put me to my knees. It felt like lightning suddenly raced through all the tendons and ligaments of my hand. I was not impressed. And that night, I met someone from Finland, and of course we had to shake hands. My hand was feeling pretty good up to that point, but after the firm handshake and the resulting snap, crackle and pop, it hurt to even pick up my drink. After dinner, a few more drinks which must have been really heavy, and another firm handshake I finally got home to examine my crippled excuse of a hand. It did seem to be swollen around the area that had been smacked. I decided to just let it rest that night and I went to bed. In the morning I was awoken by the fun pain of rolling over onto my hand. Again, not impressed. So anyways to make a long story short, my hand is feeling alright today. It still has that pain echo, you know, it doesnt feel quite right. But it doesnt hurt to fully extend my hand open or anywhere inbetween that and a fist so to speak. So that is good. And today, I woke up before my alarm again *not surprising because I went to bed at 8 some odd last night, and usually I dont get to bed until 10-12* and while laying there that all too familiar feeling crept back in... I couldnt breathe. Evidently my nasal passage decided to betray me once again, and blood was seeping back down my airways into my throat. Always a fun way to start your day. Yesterday a national publication contacted me, and asked how I was coming on this story we had been talking about, I said "its coming along" even though I havent really started it *SHHHH dont tell* and he was wondering for about a time. He was studdering and stammering and saying "uhhhh" alot so I just interjected "next week sometime?" and he said "oh yeah, yeah that would be great. Say, you have any pictures to go along with it?" So I guess that means I really should throw some pictures in there. Shouldnt be that hard. He asked me to keep it down around a thousand words. I dont know if they count words like "a, I, the, it, if" and stuff like that. *shrug* But its money. So who knows. I wonder how many words this was... posted by Suicide

Ok, so I use my computer as an alarm clock. Under Scheduled Tasks, I have it set up so that Winamp comes on and plays music at certain times for certain things. Like waking up in the morning so that I can go to my grand mothers at 0500 hrs. Then I have it set up so that a different list of songs plays at 0530 hrs so I can tell how late it is getting. But also I have it set up so that on Saturday nights at 2315 hrs it plays certain songs so that I will wake up to go watch Buffy. But Buffy isn't on any more. And I left that set up. So last night I woke up at 2315 hrs thinking it was 0500 hrs. I got dressed, brushed my teeth and was about to go up, then I heard a song that shouldn't have been on at that time. So I double checked and sure enough I shouldn't have been up. But only being asleep for an hour and a half, my brain didn't catch on when the music started playing. Damn I hate these early mornings. posted by Suicide
