What fun is being cool if you can't wear a sombrero?

Akroma had spent an age in that airy darkness. Thrice oh her ascent through the boot box, she had passed the eternal wurm. Each time she had thought she had left it below but eventually had found it again above.
At last, the tiny rectangle of light appeared. Akroma's strength was almost spent, but the wings of her god stroked still. She climbed. With each surge of her plumes, the light grew, seeming almost a heart that pulsed and enlarged. The rectangle above widened to receive her. Akroma stroked once more, folded her wings, and vaulted up into the space.
Head, shoulders, and arms shot through to the narthex of her palace. A stout iron rod had been welded to prop open the door of the box, and Akroma desperately grabbed it. She pulled herself through. Her wings unfolded as if emerging from a chrysalis. Groaning through clenched teeth, Akroma fell on her back, wings splayed. She must have seemed a new-formed moth, legs weepy and soft, body panting. Still, she had survived.
That thought pierced her like an arrow. Since when had it mattered that she survived? Her creator was dead eternally, and yet she lived?
Akroma rolled over, legs stubs aching on the stone floor. She had to find someone, anyone. Had she been gone so long? Who ruled Topos now?
"I have returned," she said through a phlegm-charged throat. When no response came, she said louder, "I have returned!"
Someone pounced on her back. Akroma tried to spin to throw off her attcker, but viseike hands fastened on her neck. The rotting touch was unmistakable. Akroma had escaped one death ony to fall to another.
"I have returned as well," said Phage

Well, I was on a roll last night, updating my blog and all. Just over halfway done when it happened. Computer automaticly restarted *sigh* so I said "TO HELL WITH IT!" and abandoned my blogging for the evening.

At any rate, I shall now post a NEW and slightly different blog than last night. Perhaps tonight I shall return and post the original message.

A few days ago an online friend of mine said that she had gone out to see *Dawn of the Dead* which, didn't really excite me all that much, but I was curious so I asked her how it was. She said it was fine, but didn't give me any real details as to the total movie. The day before she had said that she was on a message board and that someone had spoiled the ending for her, telling what it was. She was a little upset by this and was bitching about it quite frequently. At any rate what she did tell me about it led me to try and find out some more info on my own, without going to see the movie.

And later that night I was laying in bed, and since zombies were boucning around in my head from all the research I had just done on them, a problem arose... How the hell did all those people become zombies in the begining of the movie? So we start at the beginning. The title of the move *Dawn of the Dead* would have one assume that the riseing of said zombies had to do with it being dawn, therefore all the freshly dead people became zombies, because you never see really decomposed zombies in these types of movies, so they have to be *fresh*. Ok, we can all accept that. The saying of the movie is *when hell is full, the dead shall walk the earth* so evidently hell got full at dawn. This giving the cause of the zombies. But how did so many people die? And why didn't they all die. Take for example the little blonde girl at the beginning of the movie. She had been rollerblading the night before, very healthy looking. Yet, in the morning she was a zombie. How did she die? We know that at dawn she was a zombie, but how did she die??? So we think of natural causes... but what would affect a 12 year old healthy girl? I don't think that she fell down on her rollerblades and suffered a brain hemmorage, but I don't know. Had she fallen and gotten that injured... certainly her parents would have been at the hospital with her and not sleeping quietly in their bed. So we can pretty much rule that out. Then we go onto other means. Certainly she wasn't so distraught that she took her own life. And since it is DAWN of the dead, and she doesn't hang out in cemetaries like a smaller version of Buffy, I don't think that she was bitten/scratched/molested by a zombie. So how did she die? All of these zombie movies focus around a virus for the most part. A virus that affects the brain, thusly reanimating the dead body and giving it a hunger for human flesh or brains, which ever they prefer *I would go for hot spicy brains myself YUM* So if she contracted the virus by some other means, perhaps by someone putting it in the water supply, that would explain why some of the people died and not all of them. Not everybody drinks water you know. Or maybe it was transmitted like West Nile Virus via mosquitos. Then another thought popped into my head... Why don't you see any zombie animals like dogs, cats, horses, gerbils, or some other fantastic urban creature? Certainly they drink water. They are targeted by mosquitos. They are easy to catch while shambling. So it is very strange once you think about it. The how of the movie. They why is obvious. IT'S A MOVIE! Plus hell is full, so there is no more room. Also there was a scene about a zombie baby. Which I thought would have been a little differently. Evidently the mother was scratched by a zombie so she eventually died, and her baby became one. Not like I had thought, which was the baby was still born @ dawn, thusly infecting the mother by being inside her. Which I thought would have been a little neater... But, yeah, I was overruled. That's ok.

So while they are remaking all of these films, that goes to show that all the producers and movie makers in Hollywood are zombies themselves, they have no new ideas. When hell is full, the morons shall remake movies.
