Confusion has set in...
What fun is being cool if you can't wear a sombrero?

I tore the back of my knee open today. A railroad jack fell on it. The corner of the traveler slammed into my flesh and ripped out a chunk. Oh what fun. To seal it up I used acetone. More fun! FUN FUN FUN!
Oh wow, I just looked at my blog to see who tagged it *which was no one* and I saw that my post actually made it! WOO HOO, now I don't have to type all that stuff again. Yeppie!
I had a kick ass long blog last night
took me over an hour to type it all
and i hit *post* and then tried to chat
Computer stalled
And I lost it all
EVERYTHING!
You know that song by the Offspring? Pretty Fly For A White Guy? I guess that's me. Even though I don't really fall into the "poser" catagory. But I think I'm pretty fly. People say that I'm funny, and a likeable guy. Some have even gone so far to label me as "cute". Now this all may be true. Or a really big hoax. Either way, they said it. So I don't know what to think.
This past Saturday while at the pig roast, there were too many people. And since I don't like crowds much I decided to slink away down to my boat where it is nice and dark and no one was down there. So I scurried down the ramp and hopped on, went down below got some power and turned on some tunes, just enough so that I could hear them and not have everyone aware of where I was so they could come bother me. So I'm in the dark, eating my pork and this girl comes down the ramp and just stands there looking at me. She asks "is that all you do, sit on your boat?" So of course with me being quick I said "why yes, yes it is" Some other banter exchanges between us and I toss the remnants of my ribs over the side *just bone and fat left at this point* and walk over to talk to her. More banter occurs and she says to me "you don't remember my name, do you?" And of course she was correct, and since I was going "uhhh" she added "Your name is *Cat* right?" "Your memory is better than mine" I said to which she laughed a nervous girly laugh and we conversed some more. I could see that she was nervous just through her body language not to mention the tone of her voice. So I invited her onto the boat, taking her hand as she stepped onto the rail like the gentleman I am, plus it was dark and I didn't want her sprawled out on the deck because I had to be an ass and not take her hand. So I gave her the nickle tour, taking her down below after showing her the couch. That would have been better had my uncles/cousins clothes not been hanging off the hatch right at eye/nose level. It had rained like a mother fucker during the day and they changed on the boat, deciding that they should "dry out our clothes". Wow. So thoughtful of them... So anyways I showed her the cabin, which isn't all that exciting. Just two bunks, a head, a little sink gally thingy, twin 12" subs etc etc. And we talked some more. I had my blue *mood* lights on down there which give off quite a bit of light and that works well for down there since it doesn't kill your night vision. So with all that light I had a chance to check her out.
Pretty good looking girl. Glasses, nice. Thin, nice. Pretty flat chested, nice! Erm, not that I noticed or anything *halo* And while down below she was very nervous, and I don't think it was because of all the clutter down there. It might have been... had I known I was going to get a visitor I would have cleaned up some. She was looking away from me, all very shy and she says "you know, I told *my boyfriend* that if we were ever to break up... I would be going out with you" which she blushed and wouldn't look at me at all. She had a nervous little laugh after she said that, so I know she was embarrassed. Just about that time I see her boyfriend coming down the ramp and stop on the dock, looking for her. So that ruined my fun. So I could tell that he didn't like the idea of her being alone with me *chuckle chuckle* So I went about my day, well night rather after he rushed her up away from me. But I still made plenty of eye contact. I'm big on eye contact. So the police came, and we decided to go to the bar. By boat! In the dark!
Now that might be a problem for most people. But not for me! I have fancy electronics. Cost me $7500 or so. Wish now that I had gotten the 10" screens rather than the 7"s, but it's all good. So we get to the bar. It's like 10 or so, not too late. I tie the boat up, make sure it's going to be there when we get back and I head in. But there is an old class mate of mine I haven't seen for years, so we shoot the shit out on the front of the bar for a few minutes. Then I enter and the bouncers are giving me the once over, which isn't surprising. I look like I'm 16 or so. But fuck em, its not my first time in a bar so I don't pay them any attention and attitude is 90% of not being caught! :-p Upon entering I see my party and I head towards that. Only to be grabbed! And dragged to the bar. It was my good friend Opie! And TIMMY! So we shoot the shit some, boy those two were already fucked up. So blah blah blah hours pass. People get even more drunk. And I wander around looking for some missing members of my party. I decide to go up the street to the other bar to see if they are there. I walk by the windows and look in, not seeing them I continue only to hear a "HEY!" behind me. I turn around and who is it? It's that girl from before, she is leaning against the light pole. Well, isn't this just a neat turn of events. I go over and talk with her. She is more relaxed and her glasses are off *she has been drinking, boo and smoking, booooooo* and we shoot the shit. Not even a few minutes go by and I happen to look into the bar again, only to see her boyfriend coming out. Jeez, can't I just have a nice private conversation with this girl??? Anyways, blah blah blah they want a ride home on the boat since they are too fucked up to drive. Opie and them already wanted one for the same reason, so I said sure. From the five people I had when I started, I ended up with 13. And so, since they were going to walk (the party of people that girl was with) and I go right by where they were going to go, I offered to give them a ride. She said she didn't want to ride in the back *good cover story* of the truck, so she rode up front with me. We had some more convo, mostly her talking and I dropped them off. Apparently she only comes down on the weekends. Hmmm. So that was it, I didn't get home until 230 ish and then I had to get up at 430 to do the races.
I don't know what I am going to do about her
I might invite her to a weekend get-a-way with the boat, just so we can talk and stuff, sans boyfriend. I don't want to break them up or anything like that, but I sure am curious.
