Confusion has set in...

What fun is being cool if you can't wear a sombrero?

So there is this woman. She is a clothing model I suppose. I have seen her "work" before in Fredricks of Hollywood and more recently in the JC Penny commercial, with Oswald from the Drew Carrey show waiting for the bus. You know the one. I think she is the best looking female in that particular catalogue. Just thought I might toss that in here.

Editors note: I found a picture Enjoy

Yeah

So it has been a while since I've posted something

Well

Hmmm

My kitty is on my lap currently, I was supporting her with my left hand but it is hard to type one handed so she is now just laying on me. Whee! So fun.

Right

So

Saturday, being the 11th the exhaust gasket went kapooey in the boat. So no big, I decided that I would change it when I got the time. Well I got the time Wednesday and I went down and started removing the insulation that keeps the heat in the exhaust elbow and saves my boat from bursting into flames. After that I got out Mr. Wrench and proceeded to work the six bolts loose. After a little bit they all started to come out. Then I broke one. GAH! Aw fuck it *remove remove remove* there, all done. Since I couldn't re-use the bolts that I had taken out *since they were old and all used and stuff* I decided that in the morning I would bring down some new bolts and bolt it back up, leaving the broken off one right where it is since the boat wouldn't be in the water that much longer and it wouldn't get much use until then. So I left it on the dock.

Thursday:
In the morning I got up and retrieved 5 new bolts and scampered down to the boat. Putting them in and tightening them up, since I needed to get back to work I didn't opt to put the insulation back on because, well, I wasn't going to be using it for a few days so it's all good. I hopped down to turn on the battery switches.... Oh, they are already on. Huh. Ok must not have turned them off yesterday no big. Go and try to start engine... meh. Well damn! I guess the radio was on during the night so I have no juice. No big, I got some other batteries at the shop. *pull batteries and go to shop* Doo bee doo bee doo *gets new batteries and puts them in truck to take to boat* *puts new batteries in* now I can start this thing. *push button* meh... damn *get battery charger* >charge charge charge< So I work during this time. La de dah *lunch time* yay batteries charged! *go to boat* Meh... well shit. This isn't good at all. *go get a DIFFERENT battery and my BIG battery* >hook up hook up< Meh... that sounded a little squishy... like the starter is wet or something... *checks* nope, dry... how very odd. *removes injectors and pulls #3 out* EEK! >engine coolant shoots up @ me< >0.0< Oh shit! *pulls #6* more liquid!!! No wonder the engine wouldn't start, you can't compress a liquid! Aw fuck me, this means something is drasticly wrong here. Fuck it, I'll take care of it tomorrow *night now*

Friday:
*gets butchering tools* Avast ye skirvy dog, I shall cut ye to smithereenies! >removes air cross over arm, exhaust elbow, undoes oil lines to turbo and slips turbo off< Since I am hoping it is the gasket just before the turbo seperating the spacer block which lets the coolant flow through the exhaust manifold and circulate which is made from the same material as my exhaust gasket, the reasoning being since the engine was running so hot it melted the exhaust gasket it might have done the same to the one before it letting the coolant into the exhaust manifold. Easy fix. So I took the turbo up to the shop along with the block to clean them up. I rigged up a wet/dry vac with a small tube *smaller than 3/8ths diameter* so I could suck out the liquid in the cylinders. Poor Mr. Turbo was full of liquid so I dumped that out and I put the Marvel Mystery Oil to it heavily. I needed to get this thing done and back together before 4pm since I was going to Boston for the weekend @ 5. So rush rush rush, clean up the block find new gaskets and everything else. Go back to the boat and suck out the liquid and install the new gaskets with the block and turbo, hooking up the oil lines and then to the air cross over... what the hell happened to my O-ring? It's missing an inch out of it! Gah! What time is it? 3:30... where is my ride... what the fuck is taking so long! Screw it I'll walk. *starts walking* >gets ride< WHEEEE

Needless to say the boat didn't get back together, with no cross over arm the turbo doesn't pressurize the system and you don't get all the power. At this time I am covered in oil, from head to toe. Soot. Greese. And other icky stuff. Will regular soap touch this disaster? No, it will not. So I grab some "painters friend" or something like that. It is a hand cleaner for removing paint and laquer and shit like that. It's green, smells funky *is this supposed to be fruit? soap? booze? what is this!?!?* and it's chock-full of pumice. PUMICE! That scratchy rock that floats on water cause of all the air in it. Good scrubby power. So I get home and trot off to the shower (after seeing a cat in the yard and throwing my painters friend container at it :-D ). Hmmm only 40 minutes to get packed shower dressed and grab my stuff. *hops into shower* meh, fucking oil... *opens container to get a small dab of green goo* hmm *shakes container* it's right there... at the opening... maybe if I squeezed it a little... *BLORP!* GAH! *now has a handful of goo, a big handful, more like two handfuls* Uhhh... *shrug* >slaters goo< this isn't so bad *scrubby scrubby* oooo oil go bye bye YAY! *scrubby scrubby scrubby* wow this stuff smells funky *scrubby scrubby* yay all clean of oil... what do I do with the rest of this? *looks at slightly smaller glob in hand* hmm >shrug< *slathers onto rest of body* hey this is pretty nice >scrubby scrubby scrub...< EEK *note to self, dont use green scrubby goo on sensative spots* *wash hair, soap, rinse* ah >dry dry dry< *chats on internet while getting dressed/brushing teeth/packing* >leaves for weekend<

Friday 5 PM:

I hop into my friends car, tossing my stuff into the back seat. OH CRAP *runs back in and gets a blanket since it's going to be one night in the car* >goes to boat so I can get my jacket off there< Wee down the highway we go!

*chit chat on the way down* Cats friend: Oh, the red sox game is on >groan< we must listen! >radio is turned on way too loud< *thinks to self* oh god kill me now

So we listen

*chit chat* >ride ride ride< I think I prefer baseball on tv. Where I can watch it. Or at least turn it off

>stops to eat< Pizza Hut, ok goodie. Food! Plus a coupon! We got a pizza, hamburg I think... and some bread stick things. Evidently I drink my water too fast but then again I wasn't sucking down liquid on the way down like someone! So back on the road! With a few pieces of pizza left over. *drive drive drive* Tolls. STOOPID TOLLS! >state lines< WHEEEEEE *boston* nice it's 10:30 PM. Doors open @ 11. Perfect. So we go in. It is the pre-release for the Champions of Kamigawa set. Pre-reg'ed so we are the 1337 of the bunch and we get to zip to the head of the line. Yay! We get our cards *shiny!* and go find a seat. And we wait. And wait... and wait...getting sleepy...waits....what's taking so long! *waits some more* finally quarter past 12 we get our cards. Now we have an hour to make a deck. So now it's like 1:30 AM

Saturday: Midnight madness

So with the cards I got, I made up a mostly green deck with one card of each other color with some land to make it work. The deck didnt rely on those cards, so it was all good. The seating arrangements were posted and I found my seat. Went over to it sat down and *tilts to one side* fucker was broken! >swaps seat< hehehe sucker! *plays game* Well that deck failed horribly. My friends deck didn't work either. So now being 2:30 AM we decided to go get some sleep and we cashed out and crashed in the car, but not before moving it so it was directly under a light with it right in my eyes. So my shirt came off and got put up on the side to block that damn light. It started to rain just as we moved the car. I fell asleep. I woke up a few times during the night, er, morning cause it was raining harder and it was going PINK PINK PINK on the metal roof of the car. But I fell asleep again. In the morning I was notified that my friend didn't sleep hardly at all, and evidently I smacked him in the face with my elbow. So I asked him "why the hell did you hit my elbow with your face, that was rather rude of you". It was time to get back in line to go in so I threw on some new deoderant and brushed my teeth *my friend asked me how I was going to do that with no sink, hehe, no0b.* He got his umbrella since it was raining just a wee bit and while we were walking through the rain I put my shirt back on since I didn't have an umbrella. In line we filled out the paperwork again and got up to the guy to take our money. Since he paid for the pre-reg I paid for both of us here. We got another shiny card and some dice! since it wasn't our first flight *match*. This time I made a black/white deck from the cards I got. Why black and white you ask? Because I got some power cards! The black dragon *5/5 flying and when it leaves play my opponents lose 5 life and i gain that life they lost* and the white emperor *3/3 with 5 bushido - so 8/8 when blocking/blocked and indestructible!* so yeah, I played black/white. I matched up against this kid with a red deck and I beat his ass. WHOOPIE!!! I finally won a match!!! I go on to finish the 4 matches with a score of 2-1-1. 2 wins, one loss, one tie. The second match I went up against I just didn't get the cards I needed and I got beat the 3rd match I was going postal on this kid and it ended up taking the entire hour for a match just on the one game *should be best 2 out of 3* and the 4th match my opponent approached me and offered to take a tie that way we both got cards *3 packs instead of 5 or 0 as a prize - 5 if i won, 0 if i lost* My friend ended up with the same score as me so he got 3 packs too. Yay! We signed up for a 3rd flight and waited and waited and waited. Sometime during the day someone either stole some of my friends cards out of his bag or they fell out and he didnt notice. That was very uncool. He lost some really neat cards and I felt bad for him. I offered that if I got any of the ones he lost in my packs he could have them but he turned that down. Still nice to offer right? So finally the match starts. It is like 3 PM at this time and we decide that if we didnt win our first match we would just go home since it takes 4 hours to get there. Needless to say when I saw my opponent I knew I wouldn't win. He was 11. If you have to play against an 11 year old you better have a good deck. This deck I had was another black/white deck but it wasn't as bad-ass as my previous one was. So I lost. My friend lost his match as well. So we booked it. Stopped for a bite to eat at 7 or so and we got home about 10:30 PM

All in all it was a fun trip. Aside from the missing cards I had a good time and I think my friend did as well. The next pre-release is in Feb I think or something. Should be fun. We will both have to keep our cards closer next time I think.

Sunday:

I went to my friend's house and we traded our extra cards. He had 5 I needed and I had 18 he needed *since he lost some cards* So we traded and yeppie!

Monday:

I make an O-ring for the air cross over and go down to fill up the coolant in the engine with the new gaskets on. The injectors were left out so I could listen to see if the leak had been cured. I poured in a gallon of antifreeze, then a gallon of water. Then a second gallon of antifreeze, about a quarter of it goes in then I hear the sound of liquid pouring into cylinder #2. Shit! Fuck it, it must be the head gasket. Put this bastard out on the mooring *since the harbor master "didnt know you were going to leave it there for the weekend" yeah like we got alot of fucking boat traffic there. If his boat hadn't been there *charging the battery* then the dock wouldnt have run out of room. Only can take 4 boats at a time. Plth* So the boat is coming out sometime next week. It has to be towed since the engine no wurky.

Meh.

It's Wednesday now

Kitty is still on my lap

Yay kitty!
