Boy, what a week I have had so far.

On Monday it had snowed some, so I went to get the plow truck and fill it up with some gas. Only to find that it had a flat tire. Gah. So I changed the tire at 6:30 AM in a fucking snow bank with it still storming. Of course the jack wasn't there in the truck so I had to get a jack. Luckily the proper sized tire iron was there. Yay for small things. So I got the tire off, and went over to the tire place. It was 7:30 when I got there, they open at 8... drats. Ok so to breakfast. I had an egg mcmuffin. Back to the tire place, and super they are open now. Give them the tire and say "FIX IT!" so it is taken into the back room, and a few minutes later the grease monkey comes out and says "it no good". Now proper english aside, this was still not good news. Ok, so what are the options now. There were some used tires for $24 or some old stock new tires for $60. So $60 it was. Final total was more to the tune of $70 though, for mounting and balancing. So I went back to the truck, crawled around in the snow some more and put it on. Then I went about my day. Plow and work. What fun. Oh and I picked up a "new" computer for work too. It's new to me. Windows 95. YAHOO.

Tuesday came next. New movies come out on Tuesdays. So I went to go find one. I got a movie that I thought would be funny, because it looked cute on the preview. Shawn of the Dead was what I rented. And my review is as follows: Save your money, don't rent this! And earlier in the day I decided to put a larger hard drive into the computer. It came with a 2Gb hard drive. Which was 80% full. So I planned to add my 120 Gb that I had kicking around. So I got all ready to put it in... and there were no mounting brackets. GAH what kind of deal is this? No big, I'll just find some longer screws, who needs brackets. So I found some screws and it worked good, didn't move or anything. Very secure. But when I installed the goodies for my hard drive, the computer went "ack" and wouldn't turn back on. Said that it got fucked up somehow. So I was not impressed. FINE I said, I'll yank that hard drive out and put the 120 in and put a new OS on that since I have the OS for my laptop on a disk. No problem. Well it turned into a problem... I've never loaded one before, and I didn't know that I needed a boot disk. But I solved that problem that night.

Wednesday came around, and I finally loaded the OS on the computer. And it went through all the installation stuff and up popped the screen where it needed the cd key. Where the hell is my cd key? GAH. But I found it, and that computer works good. But it doesn't say that the hard drive is as big as it actually is. Very troubling, but then again, not a big deal. I worked some during the day, although I didn't get nearly half as much done as I had wanted to. Then I went to a service for an extended family member that night *sigh* He was a good guy, I liked him alot. And if that wasn't enough, more of my broken tooth broke out. And the dentist was closed.

So now we are on today. Last night it was snowing a little bit and the weather forecast said 3-5 inches. Not a big deal. Well I woke up this morning to a good 3 inches. So good infact that it was 4 times 3. What the hell am I supposed to do with a foot of fucking snow??? So I started plowing, after making sure I had 4 tires with air in them. Plow plow plow. Plow here, plow there. Plowing up at work, making a few passes. The snow being so deep that you had to plow a path, move over a plow width and make another pass then go back and get the area you skipped, and then plowing on both sides of that to get all that squirts out from infront of the blade or rode up over it. So basicly to plow a place, you have to plow it FIVE times to get it done just once. So plow plow plow *crack* hmm, what the hell was that? *reverse* >sees plow hanging there all askew< Oh great, I've broken the fucking plow now! And sure as shit, the I-beam that gets bolted to the push plates and that holds the bottom of the plow on evidently had one of the bolts come out and it broke through the other one. Sigh and a half. So I took the plow off, unhooked it from the piece that broke off the truck and took it inside. Where I proceeded to beat it with a large hammer to get it back into shape. Then I got it welded. Bought some bolts for it and had it put back on. When the guy was putting it on he said "oh, looks like we have a little gap here" so I peeked under the truck and the *little gap* was more like 2 inches! Evidently it had bent the push plate too. But that's ok, he beat it with a big sledge hammer. Yay for brute force and blunt objects. So finally that piece was reunited with the truck. And I went to put the plow back on. When I got there I remembered *oh yea... the pick up chain broke, I have to go get a repair link or two* So back out onto the open road I go. Got some repair links, although they were bigger than the normal chain so it took me a while to put them on out in the fucking cold with the blowing snow. But finally the plow got back on and I got to plow everything. Only 4 hours behind schedule. Plowed all frigging day long. Used 14 some odd gallons of fuel. But it's all done. No doubt it will drift tonight because of the wind, so I will have to plow some tomorrow. Oh joi.

What will Friday bring me? OH probably something really bad. With the dentist appointment, I leave Friday to go on a trip to Boston for the weekend. So I will probably be a drooling fool from the novicane. Saturday there is supposed to be a storm coming up the coast and hopefully we will be just infront of it coming home Saturday night/Sunday morning. But who knows. Probably won't be much snow anyways. Maybe just another "3 inches" or so.

I can't wait
