I ventured outward yesterday and picked up a band new outboard that I won in a raffle and I picked up some traps too, cashing in my gift certificates and paying just a bit extra to make up the difference. I got this really sexy black one though, with ergo blocks and green heads. OOOOOOOOO baby.

I put the boat back together, after taking some parts off to get them cleaned, only to have them fall and bend a stud. And of course I didn't have any studs to put back in, so I had to steal one *shhhhh dont tell* But luckily I didn't break any bolts off or anything drastic like that. I got my broken fitting replaced and upgraded, as to not have that issue again. Just got ready to take the boat out and put it on the mooring when the thunder storm opened up and started to rain. A bit of lightning, but not all that much. I had originally opted to wait out the rain inside the cabin but I didn't know how long that would be, and the dinghy was rapidly filling with water. So I rowed back in getting quite soaked in the process. I do think my shoes are still wet...
