Boy, I sure do feel a whole lot better after a nice hot shower.
Although, while in the shower, I got to thinking....It really isn't big enough for two people.
I'm positive that I could get two people in there, but damn, there really isn't all that much space to move around in.
Heh, one of us would have to step outside in order to change positions.
I really should get that hot tub hooked up. posted by Suicide

Well, today wasn't all that productive. I did manage to get the refridgerator in place, which was a little bit of a hassle. I had made up this ash quasi frame-like thing and put that on first, and then tried to slide the whole thing in at once. And It would have been really easy, had it not been a very tight spot for it. And the recent addition of just one layer of fiberglass mat closed it up that much more *boy I sure am glad I did't put some on the other side!* At any rate, I got it in, and screwed through the bulkheads into the ash frame, to hold it down more. Because the flange on the refridgerator is meant for a flush-mount application, and well, I just didn't have any flush to mouth it on. Heh. So the frame took the place of that, I used it as my finish surface if you will. I also got some bulkheads in for the drawers, although I have to stick them on and glass them first before the drawers. And they have to be perfectly parallel or else the drawers just won't work! Damn fickle drawers. Also I used the jog-stick and marked out the pattern for the galley top, and, if I had a piece of plywood, I would have cut that out too. But I didn't, so I didn't. Shipped the two blue engines today. They were supposed to go yesterday, but all that damned snow delayed that. And there was much shoveling today too, the snow drifted quite bad. And the truck that took the engines, was full of crap in the back AND MORE SNOW! So I had to shovel that too. No plow truck as of yet. The little squirts had school today, so my mechanic didn't have the day off to work at the garage, since he takes care of the fleet of school busses.
On a happier note, my kitty is in my lap. She finally stopped rubbing her nose against my arms and has just layed down. What a nice cat she is. She is old too for a house cat. She is 14 ish I think. Hardly has any teeth left, poor thing. Wet cat food it is! Pre-mashed too. She has double claws too. Well, not quite double, but she has 7 claws on each front paw, and they all work. And she is a bed hog, she uses those claws too. They poke right through the blankets onto my chest. AND, if that wasn't enough...She snores!
I wonder how tomorrow will go, I have to go to the court house for some family crap. Which sucks. Can't really talk about it on here.
Well, I did finally get my article done. And I suppose that it will go to print, since the guy called me back and told me I would be getting a by-line down at the bottom of it. One of those little "more info" thingies. I now get to sort through some fotographs and send those too. Over the electronic mail though, I did tell them that I sent some snail mail, heh, which I didn't :-D hehe *score*
Also today, I went to move the plow truck that was feeling a little ill. Its transfer case had this... crack in it and it was leaking fluid when it was running. I was backing it up to go drive it up the road to the mechanic when all of a sudden BANG! It no go! So I opened the door and looked underneath and there was this gear sitting there ontop of the snow. I blew a fucking hole in the case. So the rest of the residual oil ran out. A few more gears and a needle bearing came out too, the bearing was all fucked up, wasnt quite flat and fair anymore. And, to top it all off, the transfer case was just hanging there. All of the bolts must have broken that hold it up onto the frame. Just the drive shaft and the jack shaft from the transmission were holding it. It was really sad. After all of the years of loyal service it finally died. Poor thing. It was almost like watching your dog die after a long illness. But yesterday I got this other truck, an automatic rather than a standard like the plow truck, and I took that up to the mechanic today as well. All of the plow gear is coming off the plow truck and going on this one. So I can plow snow again. We got about another foot or so of the white stuff. And its blowing, and since its the small hard kind of snow, its drifting quite bad. So hopefully I can get that jewel up and going tomorrow. Yeppie yahoo. The radio in it leaves something to be desired though. But I can always replace that when the time comes, no biggie. PLUS it will be a good work truck for the summer. So that is good. And also today, since I had no intentions of being in the snow, I wore my work shoes *a four year old pair of airwalks that are getting a little ratty, what with the holes and missing heel and all* and those promptly got soaked. And I was in the damn snow ALOT! It really wasnt all that pleasant. My tootsies are just now getting thawed out. And since my feet were slightly warmer than the snow, it melted, and I was sloshing in water all day. And when I went outside, it would freeze. Then inside melt along with all the other snow collected on them. It really wasnt a good idea to wear those today. So they are strung up above the stove, maybe tonight they will dry. One can only hope. posted by Suicide

I haven't done one damn thing on my article.
I'm such a slacker.
Blue says she didn't put that in my tag board, and if that is what she says, then I have to believe her.

Heh, it was funny. On the depictions of what Saddam might look like, they had 5 variations, and one of them made him look like Mark Twain! Damn that was funny. And I thought, that with a little effort, they could have made him look like Col. Sanders, of KFC fame. It struck me as funny. Perhaps you dont share my sense of humor. posted by Suicide

Ten Bonus Points to anyone who can tell me what book this passage is from
Beautiful she was, so beautiful. The goddess with her long black plaited hair. Impulsively I took her in my arms and kissed her; kissed her cold lips and felt them yield to me just a little.
Then the blasphemy of it struck me. It was like the time I'd kissed her in the shrine. I wanted to say something in apology, but I was staring at her throat again, hungry for the blood. It tantalized me that I could drink it and yet she was who she was; she could have destroyed me in a second with no more than the wish to see me die. That's what she had done to the others. The danger thrilled me, darkly. I closed my fingers round her arms, felt the flesh give ever so slightly. I kissed her again, and again. I could taste blood in it.
Good luck! And no cheating either. posted by Suicide
